Hi, I’m Jamie and I’ll be your host.
In 2020, many of us found ourselves isolated physically and professionally. Because I chose not to live in fear and continued to enjoy my days, I was considered a danger to society, so I created this group to unite all the dangerous rebels. Many of us needed new professional allies after 2020, and Wake Up High Five has become my only resource for hiring talent and finding new collaborations. I will never sacrifice my integrity for popularity, so I created this group to counter the narrative. I wanted a place for people like me to find creative partners without having to post their pronouns or anything else that felt out of alignment but was also mandatory because of how the creative industry is going. Wake Up High Five is a community of creative professionals who value liberty. We share information, offer advice, market our services, and support each other. If you're looking for others to pick up what you're putting down, this place is for you. Integrity over popularity, always.

The WUHF social club is open to all people. We emphasize the creative industry because of the importance of shifting the mainstream narrative through creatives, but all are welcome to this party.

We have a variety of ways for you to share about your business inside the community, including geo-groups where you can connect with others locally and spaces you can post if you're looking for work. Additionally, I try introducing all new members to the group and love promoting new members.

If you aren't paying for something, you are the product. Social media apps sell your info and track your activities; nothing is free. This group is intended to be a way for people to connect, market, and grow. Think of it as a LinkedIn full of folks you actually want to network with. We welcome you to market your services, find support, share ideas, and find friends in your area. It costs money to run the site and to create member experiences so there is a small membership fee.

The annual memberships cannot be canceled, but you can cancel your monthly membership anytime. If you'd like to scope it out before committing to a year, we recommend trying a month and deciding if it's a good fit.
