Matka NYC
MATKA was founded in 2018 in a DIY loft space in Bushwick. We started with hosting our friends and small clients for shoots and film nights.
The MATKA team envisioned an inclusive space that welcomed all skill levels of photographers and artists. We have grown into three spaces, each with an assortment of beautiful plants and trees.
MATKA has hosted a diverse range of clients and events, from ad campaigns to branded content to music videos to meditation sessions to bridal showers and proposals to trade for portfolio shoots.
Clients include Vogue India, Sol de Janeiro, Etsy, Out Magazine, CBS News, Rifle Paper Company, Tushy, Dagne Dover, Makari, Otis, Teen Vogue, VitaCoco, MisterWives, Ariana Bohling, Crabtree & Evelyn, among others.
Beehave
In 2001, Jeanine Longo, aka Bean or miss. beehave followed a bliss call and left her MA program to become a hairdresser. AVEDA checked all the boxes and trained her as a stylist in Minneapolis MN. After a ten-month program, she returned home to Brooklyn and opened a tiny hair salon in the heart of a just-blooming Williamsburg Brooklyn. The Beehive Salon attracted a motley crew of passionate hair artists from all over the world and a clientele that appreciated the original salon's quirky, fun, low-key vibe and, of course, the salon's natural approach to beauty in a chemical world. Fast forward two more salons and ten years later...

Street Cat Tarot
STREET CAT TAROT is composed of Brooklyn native Kate Enman. Having been enamored with the esoteric since she was a teen, in the last few years, Kate has done an Olympic dive into fine-tuning her Tarot practice and study. In addition to her fascination with the metaphysical, Kate adores the chance to dialogue about life's complexities with her clients and, together, discover what insights the cards might have to say. In addition to Tarot, Kate is currently studying astrology and natal charts and how our celestial blueprint informs our daily lives and selves. Kate has had the pleasure of living and studying in Europe and the Middle East and currently lives with her husband and two cats in Bushwick.
